How To Become Stronger

You are in all likelihood a lot tougher than you think you are. Most of us don't realize the real extent of our strength until we are tested by life events. When difficult situations evolve, we almost always rise to the occasion.

We think that we couldn't cope with many a circumstance, yet when those things happen we have no choice other than to get on and deal with it. When push comes to shove, we have an amazing ability to cope.

But why wait until these events materialize to appreciate how strong we are? Wouldn't it be beneficial to appreciate your strength and allow yourself to feel more empowered through that knowledge?

If you think you are strong, then you will be strong. If you think you are weak then you will feel weak...until some challenging event happens and you suddenly realize that you did have hidden reserves of personal strength.

Personal strength and empowerment derive from the way in which you habitually think. Your thoughts direct your actions and therefore the reality of your personal existence. Therefore the way in which you become stronger is by changing the way in which you instinctively focus and think.

You might have heard someone say, "There's no such word as can't". If you think that you can't cope, or can't do something, then it's likely that you cannot do it. But in most cases you can't because you think you can't, not because you really can't!

The moral of the story is to never accept that you can't do something. Adopt the phrase "there's no such word as can't" as your own mantra and live by that rule. Once you think in terms of "I can" your mind will find a way to do whatever it is you wish to do. By opening your mind to opportunities, you will find that they come to you.

Your subconscious mind is designed to work towards an end result. If you have something that you want to achieve and focus upon it, your subconscious mind will seek to find a way to get there. And so as you say to yourself "I can do this" your subconscious mind will respond to that directive and discover ways to achieve your goals.

Should you wish to increase your ability to think laterally and maximize the use of your subconscious mind, hypnosis is a great help. Hypnosis allows you to access your subconscious mind and get it working for you in an instinctive and automatic way.
