By: Franklin Esmur
Category: Attraction

You probably heard of “law of attraction” when surfing the internet for self-help topic, reading books about self-improvement, or watching the movie “The Secret”.

The “law of attraction” states, That which is like unto itself, is drawn. In another word, you are attracting the experience by the thought that you are offering. You may create poor, illness, and stress to yourself if you are thinking about these negative thoughts all day long. However you can also attract money, health, love one, and happiness if you think about positive thoughts.

Does It Really Exist?
The question is: Is the law of attraction real? Or it is just an idea that people make up in order to boost their confidence and get them through the obstacles that they are facing. Well, this article is created in order to answer this question.

Everyone believes in the law of gravity. Why? Well, there’s an obvious proof. When you take a book and drop it from the tallest building in New York, it will fall down to the ground. There is no exception.

How’s about the “law of attraction”? Some people argue that the “law of attraction” does not exist; because when they try to think about money, new car, new house, or whatever they desire, these amazing things never happen to them or they may experience the opposite to what they wish for.

Let’s look back to the example of dropping the book. To say the “law of attraction” does not exist that mean saying the law of gravity does not exist when the book is not landed in the specific spot that you wish it to land.

Here’s another example. A parachuter jumps from the airplane; he intends to land at the red circle on the ground. However, instead of landing on that mark, he lands on the bushes 500 feet away from the red circle. You cannot say gravity doesn’t exist because the parachuter land on bushes instead of the red circle. Gravity does exist; it just that he didn’t utilize gravity correctly to do his landing on the red circle.

Similarly, the “law of attraction” does exist! However, most people don’t use law of attraction correctly to attract the things that they want in life.

Why “Law of Attraction” Does Not Work For Me?
Think about the time when you tried to attract to yourself a new car by forcing your mind to think about having new car and driving it. But instead of getting a new car, you got a ticket by driving so fast on the freeway. Then, you wish to have a new house. Again, you gave thoughts about getting a new house. After a few weeks, you got bills and debts from the current house.

These experiences repeat themselves over and over again. You wondered if the law of attraction exist, why can’t you have the thing want to attract?

The answer is: Yes, the law of attraction does exist as explain above; the reason you can’t get the thing you want because your mind is always in the state of conflict. When you deliver positive thoughts, these thoughts go in the conscious mind. And when they become strong, they will cause a change in subconscious mind. However, your subconscious is usually embedded with full of negative and conservative thoughts from parents and society (for example: you don’t deserve it, you can’t do it, money is bad,…). Again, these thoughts occur in your subconscious mind, your conscious mind is not aware of it.

When your conscious and subconscious minds agree, your wish and desire will be answered. There is no exception.

Just Feel It!
So how do I get my subconscious mind to agree with my conscious mind, you may ask?

One way to do it is through feeling. Remember, your subconscious mind is functioned by feeling and emotion. When you wish for a new car, feel the joy of driving it. When you desire for a new house, feel happy, proud and secure that you are living in your dream house.

And so, simply by paying attention to the way you are feeling, you will know, at all times, the direction from which your powerful magnetic being is attracting the subject of whatever you are giving thought to.

By: Stirling Grey
Category: Attraction

Sometimes men think that women are mysterious because women often do not behave the way we expect. That in and of itself does not mean women are inherently “mysterious.” It simply means that most of us, most of the time, perceive the world from our own personal worldview. We base our expectations of how other people will act on how we see the world.

We have all heard, seen, read and imagined things that give us a framework by which to understand the world and make sense of it. Our worldview includes all the unconscious ideas and understandings that come to us in ways in which we are probably not even aware. Traditions, customs, the culture you live within and social practices you adopt, morals you have learned and even the words you use carry embedded meaning most people scarcely even think about. Your mind is developed to remember, recognize and decipher a world of signs, signals and meanings.

Since our individual worldview is also framed by what we think we know, (and a lot of what we don’t even realize we think we “know”) then that helps to explain why sometimes other people’s behavior may seem incomprehensible and often mysterious. This is most often true in communicating with strangers. We think we are communicating one meaning and they may see and sense something quite different. Often the difference is subtle. Sometimes it is just enough to leave you confused. How often do you come away with the feeling of “What just happened here?”

So, if each person’s worldview is slightly different then how do we manage to communicate so successfully most of the time? The answer is that despite individual understandings we share much more in common than most people realize. If you were dropped into a place where you did not speak the same language then chances are you would still understand a lot of non-verbal clues. You could probably tell if a women was interested in you being there and if the guy standing next to her was not happy to see you.

This applies to people as a whole and it seems to apply most strongly within genders. Men and women have adapted remarkably well, even across cultures and languages, to recognizing signals that are of particular importance both to men and to women. Men have developed a lot of communication signals in common with other men. Women have developed a lot in common with other women. Oddly, while men/men and women/women have a lot in common, men/women still remain a bit of a mystery to each other. Why is this?

Perhaps it is because women compete with other women for mates. Men compete with other men. It may not have been as important, over the course of thousands of years of development, for men to “understand” women as it was to recognize who would make them a good mating partner. The same principle has applied to women, generation after generation. One could say that effectively, women have selected men to be the way they are, over and over. And again, the same has applied to men selecting women, over and over, to be just as they are.

So why the mystery between the sexes? One would think that over hundreds and even thousands of generations “the mystery” would have been sorted out by now.

So why do women sometimes seem mysterious to men? Here is my working hypothesis: “Both genders have been under complex and competing pressures to adapt to the changing social and physical environment for a long time. The pressure for each gender to understand the other in the same way has just not been the predominant requirement for perpetuating the species. Recognition of other social traits has predominated for many generations; “understanding” in the contemporary sense has only developed more recently and is not as deeply embedded in people’s hierarchy of needs.”

Contemporary studies do not tend to support the popular myth that women think in terms of cooperation and men in terms of competitiveness. Men and women are not remarkably different in how they think or communicate. They seem, however, to be different in how they feel about the world around them.

If you were to ask most men about how they imagine themselves in the world around them, they would likely say that they want to anticipate and control a situation. They want to be able to “sort it out” and make sense of it. The whole idea comes from wanting to be able, at least as much as possible, to predict the outcome of a situation or interaction. Men would like to believe that when interacting with a woman she would tend to act a certain way because it makes sense.

Much of how people feel about the world around them is shaped by how they imagine they will feel or should feel under certain circumstances. The process of imagination may be fundamentally different between men and women. I think our “gender based imaginations” are different, and I think this is the basis of the perception that women seem mysterious to men.

By: Stirling Grey
Category: Attraction

When a man tries to imagine how a woman will think, act and feel based on his own understanding he will likely find himself confused.

Does this really mean that men do not understand women all that well? I would argue that men largely do understand women. In fact, modern day men probably are right up at the top, as compared to previous generations of men, when it comes to intuitively understanding women. However, there are different types of understanding and this illustrates both the problem and the solution to adapting.

Modern men do reasonably well at intuitively understanding what a woman needs, and when and how she wants attention. The communication between genders is highly evolved. Some people might not agree with this. After all, there is the whole “mystery” thing that attracted your attention to this article in the first place. If you are reading this then you probably agree with the statement: “I want to understand communicating with women better.”

The inherent problem in making sense of women is when men attempt to apply how men look at the world to how women act and extrapolate what causes them to act that way. The problem, the mystery, occurs when men attempt to understand women using the worldview that allows them to understand men. They apply the wrong key to try to understand the code. Men see that women have a complex and highly developed way of making sense of the world but they have a hard time predicting women’s behavior under a wide range of circumstances. There is a lot that we can understand by looking at behaviors of larger groups as a whole under similar circumstances over time.

Does that mean that each individual woman does not know herself what triggers her own interest in an individual man? Well, in part, yes it does mean that. Women filter their experiences through imagined emotion in a way that is not necessarily intuitive to men. Each woman’s emotional response is not predetermined, at least not in a way that she can reference and say, “OK, that’s what to expect.” Their emotional response to a situation, in particular to a man, is not always going to coincide with how she thought she would react. Maybe it is mysterious, and then again maybe not entirely so.

Men and women imagine themselves in the world differently. This is not a bad thing, and in fact, it is a part of what helps to make life interesting. Think about it; if women always behaved the way you expected them to it would be pretty boring. The excitement of finding new insights about people you have just met or are getting to know better can be some of the most interesting parts in your life’s journey. Like it or not you are going to have to accept that any particular woman may not act the way you predict.

That uncertainty can create uncomfortable feelings when dealing with women. The feeling that you want to meet someone new and interesting but you have doubts about how it will turn out can be very frustrating. For some men the uncertainty and doubt created by past failures becomes terrifying enough that they find the girl they thought they always wanted. If you are reading this then chances are you want to learn more about what causes confusion and how you can master you own outlook.

Please continue on to the next article part three.

By: Meenakshi Gaur
Category: Attraction

Each of us has a personality which gives us our uniqueness. It is what makes us shine and brings success in the various aspects of our life such as work, home, social circles and personal spheres. By honing our capabilities and qualities, we ensure and help ourselves to grow from strength to strength. Some of the key ways for personality development are listed below. With consistent practice on these fronts, you become a person with a pleasing and dynamic personality.

Confidence: It is a necessity not a luxury in your life. You need self confidence before you take upon a task or a venture, during the performance and after having completed the responsibility. It is in our power to instill confidence inside of us. It determines the very course our lives take, the successes that come to us, the kind of relationships we nurture and our peace of mind. Believe in yourself and your capabilities, you will automatically gain the strength to deal with the challenges you face. You can say that developing confidence in yourself is one of the most important requisites for personality development.

Define goals: Goals give a sense of purpose and direction in our lives. Without goals, our lives seem to wander and our energies get depleted by unnecessary or meaningless things. Goals instill a sense of positive energy, enhances determination.

Time management: We cannot go back in time or step into the future, the present is what can be made best use of. Effective usage of time ensures we get that much closer to success. Prioritize your tasks and sort your to-do list accordingly. This will help you give your precious time and energies to people and things that are important to you.

Positivity: The entire world works on the basis of positivity. Positive frame of mind propels you to achieve things that you thought are impossible. Practice positive thinking and see the difference it makes to your attitude towards work, family, friends, towards your own self! It is quite natural for you to get worries or feel pessimistic when something goes wrong, but the quicker your comeback to a positive mental state, the quicker is your chance at finding a solution to your problem.

Appreciation: The moment you stop thinking about the goodness in others or charms around you, you may tend to feel bogged down by the faults or the monotony of life. Keeping an open mind and appreciating yourself and others keeps you happy and open to new challenges. Other people too tend to feel good about them and this will help being out the best in them.

Balanced approach: Oscillating towards the extremes can be quite stressful. Remind yourself and keep a check on your emotions, your thoughts. A balanced approach to everything makes it easier for you to accept successes and failures with elan. Have a good support system in the form of family and friends who can be your sound board and guide you when you tend to react or think in extremes. Balance is also essential to differentiate the different aspects of life such as work and personal time. Bringing work home disrupts your family or personal time; similarly, losing your temper in the middle of a crisis only makes it harder for you to think of solutions.

Sense of humor: Having a sense of humor is not only for the health but also acts a stress buster. Being able to laugh at your own self also is an endearing quality. It is not required to be serious all the time and stress out about every failure or misfortune. Many a times, a laugh at a very stressful situation indeed makes the tension less and eases people around you to lighten up and see the situation in a better light.

Continuous learning: Learning new work at office, or teaching your child grammar; fixing a broken car or cooking a dish for your friend…everything is a learning experience. We learn and unlearn consistently. Having a passion to learn about things you do not know keeps your mind active and geared up for grasping interesting things all the time. Your personality keeps getting better as you learn.

Personal habits: Personal hygiene and habits can make or break our personality. Each of us has our own eccentricities, mannerisms and personal traits that are bothersome or endearing. Practicing good habits makes us a pleasing personality and you will find it easier to be accepted by others.

Creative: Think out of the box, fire your imagination and get creative whether you are planning a vacation or explaining a concept to your team at office. Creativity not only makes life interesting for you but also brings rewards and appreciation. Reality may have limitations at times but you can work your way around problems with your creativity.

Personality development does not end with just these guidelines but these are definitely some of the key pointers.

Meenakshi Gaur is an expert author for Career Development, Coaching and Mentoring.
By: Ram Gupta
Category: Attraction

Everyone reacts differently to the prospect of making a favorable impression on someone they find attractive, and some people end up more nervous than others. However, while degrees may vary, nervousness itself is a common factor. After all, it is not easy to face judgment and the possibility of rejection by someone you already like and are eager to get to know better. You may well have spent hours thinking about how to make a great first impression. There are so many things to think of: how you dress, your behavior and body language, how you carry yourself, how you start a conversation, what you talk about...the list doesn't seem to end. It is really confusing, right? Apparently not, if recent research is to be believed. Body language experts claim that now there is science to back up the age-old phrase, 'it is all in the eyes.' Evidence suggests that eye-contact is the most significant determinant of success or failure on that nerve-wracking first date.

The Key is in the Eyes

Some of you may be surprised to find that the subtle skill of your eyes is a more pressing factor on that first encounter than your personality, how you look and the way you make conversation. However, the good news is that with awareness of the right way to go about it, eye contact is a skill you can easily master. So, here are a few tips to help you get it right.

Establish a Bond

The first role of eye contact, especially when you are meeting a new person, is to establish a bond. Don't be afraid to look into their eyes. A confident gaze will not only create a good first impression, it will also give a clear signal that you are interested in the person. However, remember not to stare outright for too long. You don't want to end up making the other person feel that you are invading their privacy. Short and frequent glances should be the way to go at this stage. If you feel that your looks are being reciprocated, it is a signal that the interest is mutual, and now you can relax into a nice, friendly conversation.

Bring in the Longer Gaze

The role of eye-contact does not diminish in significance after that crucial first step. Once you have gotten to know each other a little bit, you have reason to be more free and confident about your eye contact. Maintain it for periods of 5-7 seconds, especially while you are listening to him/her talking. It will show your date that you are earnestly interested in what they are saying, and it will also give the person an opportunity to appreciate the attractiveness in your own eyes. Eye contact for 5-7 seconds may take a conscious effort though, because according to the experts the average time period for which most listeners will maintain eye contact is 3 seconds.

Enhance Your Eyes

With all this eye-contact going on, it is important to feel confident about how your own eyes look. Women can use the opportunity here to put their make-up skills to good use. Ladies, bear in mind though, that the idea is to enhance the natural look of your eyes and not distract the other person with glitter and dazzle. That might just be a turn-off. The ancient cosmetic Kohl, also known as Kajal in the Indian subcontinent, is an excellent product to use on such occasions.

By: Srinivasan Gopal
Category: Attraction

It’s a scientifically proven fact that mankind uses no more than 6% in our brains. Albert Einstein supposedly used 10% of his. That leaves a lotof untapped mental ability.

Consider what we’ve accomplished with all the little mental ability we’ve used considering that the dawn of person. Is it so difficult then to consider the options of that which you could achieve?

The Law of Attraction, positive thinking or whatever you want to call it, works on the premise that we’re able to determining what we should have and how we live with the strength of our psychic energy.

The idea is that we’re in a position to direct our mental abilities, our thoughts toward our goals and desires and acquire them.

Granted this ability isn’t something that’s easily obtained. Most of us have spent their lives of the opinion the world affects them. Not the other way round.

It’s a generally held belief that if fate is determined by us, it’s through our actions and not our thoughts. But aren’t our thoughts the basis of our actions?

If our thoughts cause us to do something, understanding that action brings about obtaining our goal, are we able to not say our thoughts were accountable for the results? The outcome individuals actions are determined by our thoughts. Whether they’re conscious you aren't, our thoughts do determine what and who we are.

The Law of Attraction allows us to focus our thoughts in positive approaches to everyone’s benefit.

If you would like to put the Law of Attraction to work for you, then you need to look up http://www.positiveaffirmationstosuccess.info

Article Source: The Law Of Attraction - Makes You What You Think You Are

By: Kari Farmer
Category: Attraction

As I've said many times before the law of attraction is a real law just like other laws of science out there and if you are not using it to your advantage then you are missing out a huge tool that will impact your life positively.

If you are having problems manifesting what you want in your life then you will want to read the rest of this article.

Here are 7 reasons the law of attraction may not be working for you and how to fix it.

1. You don't really understand how it works

You may have watched the movie the secret and understand that you can attract the things you want in life but you don't have an underlining sense of why it actually works that way!

The only way to fix this problem is to keep studying and learning about the law of attraction until you really understand the inside and out of it all. The great news is that there are so many teachers out there that are teaching the law of attraction that you will always have a new way to look at it or understand it.

2. You are so set in your beliefs that you just can't believe anything else.

Your mother told you that you can't be a successful dancer in life because it will take you nowhere in life. You believe this with all your heart and give up on trying because there is no use.

A belief is a belief and it affects your thoughts and therefore your attraction 100 percent. You have to realize that your beliefs are attracting what you want or don't want into your life and the only way to change the way you think and attract what you want is to change your beliefs.

Remember that just because someone told you so doesn't actually make it so.

3. Fear rules your life.

You are scared to admit to what you want because you are scared you will not get it. You feel it's better to live without then to be disappointed in the end.

I'm sure you've heard the saying that the only thing to fear is fear itself. And it's so true! Fear holds so many people back from doing what they want and accomplishing things in life that would make them proud of themselves that it's absolutely insane.

Remember that if you spend your whole life in fear you will never know if there was really nothing to be afraid of because you will never try.

4. You are not putting any action behind what you want to manifest.

You want a huge house in the country and you are sitting on your butt waiting for it. How can you expect to get anything in life without actually putting some action towards getting it!

Once you start putting action behind your words, wants, and thoughts you will start to see things shifting into place for you. Opportunities will come alive to move closer to your manifestation and you will find that you are attracting things to you faster then ever.

So if you want to become a writer then you are going to have to write!

5. You don't want to go against the grain of your family or friends.

Your family says that the law of attraction is stupid and made up and even though your heart tells you differently you don't want them to think you are doing something silly, so you don't.

Families have a huge influence over us but the truth is that even if you are different they will still love you and accept you in the family. The bigger truth is that they may even recognize what you are doing as healthy and something they want to do and soon that silly thing will become a family trait.

6. You want bad things for others.

You hate that your co-worker makes more then you and you don't want your neighbor to have the boat that you've been trying to attract. Instead of just wishing bad things for others you are also stopping your good things from coming.

You can't wish bad things on other people because you spend so much time being negative which is not going to help you stay on a positive vibration of attracting good things.

7. You don't use affirmations in your life.

Saying that you are rich in the mirror over and over seems stupid and pointless to you.

The only way to really belief something is to convince yourself of its truth. Your beliefs right now are thoughts that you have told yourself are true because of experience or just the fact that it makes sense.
